Great place to have lunch in Southport. I absolutely love Karen's fruit lemonade!

Had the big breakfast today. 2 eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries and gravy biscuit for $7. Absolutely delicious. Unable to finish everything even I wanted too. Service was quick with a genuine friendly smile. Thanks again.

Taylors has a bohemian yet homey vibe. Love their salads and their breakfasts.

Taylors has amazing breakfast. Wonderful server and Karen the chef and owner is so kind. I highly recommend eating here. And dont leave without getting a purple pancake!

Waitress was amazingly friendly. The food was absolutely fabulous. I would suggest getting the aioli for your fries, it is delicious. I had the burger and it was amazing. My friend swears by the friend green tomato sandwich.

It was our first visit and we were so happy with the service and food.

Eggs Benedict overcooked -- were like hard boiled. Replacements were better, but 2d Canadian bacon and English muffin were underdone and rubbery (originals were nice and slightly crisp.) Hollandaise was thin and watery. My own homemade are far better.

What a great little diamond in the rough. Although we had a little bit if a wait, it was well worth it. The service was fast and friendly. I was extremely impressed by the way that their crew moved customers in and out without making a single person feel rushed. Their menu was great and had a little something for anyones taste. Our meal was cooked and put together very well and arrived to our table, fresh off of the grill. The next time that I'm in the area, Taylor Cuisine Cafe and Catering will be at the top of my list for places to eat.

What I love about Taylors is that you always feel welcomed. No rush to order, and speedy service with some delicious food. Prices are decent and Karen is an absolute sweetheart.

This restaurant is in my opinion the best in the whole area around Southport.The staff is very quick and friendly and the food is amazing, but don't expect anything too fast as is very relaxed. Very their fruit lemonade!

Great hidden gem, breakfast was amazing. Wife loved her sweet potato pancakes and I loved my omelet while stealing wife's country style THICK bacon. Service was great.

Love this place! Karen Taylor is a wonderful owner. Great specials Thursday-Saturday. Sunday brunch is always a hit! The best crab cake Benedict around. Service is quick, and drink glasses are never empty. Her longtime staff are super gals.

Had read a very positive review so gave them a try. Be prepared that some items go VERY fast, but we found our second choice was wonderful!!! Have to go back and try for the first choice if not sold out. Very busy in the good way. Customers were raving on how delicious their food was without any prompting. Our group was delighted with our food every one. Staff was a delight. Look forward to return visits. Even got to speak with a local and Taylor's is a place they go regularly.

Had to ask for service and a menu. Two tables that came in after us got their food first. Shame when all you ordered was eggs and hash browns. Hate it for the owner, she is competent and hard working. Needs a better staff though.

Food was decent, but nothing great. I was honesty excited about eating here after seeing the reviews, but it was just ok. I had a jerk chicken sandwich and it was two small strips of chicken in what tasted like sweet teriyaki sauce. My wife had a strawberry pecan chicken salad and she said it was ok but had a ton of sugar in it.The kids had the purple pancakes and a burger and said they were good so thats a plus. The good thing about Taylors is the people. Everyone was friendly and treated you like friends.

Excellent fried chicken! Was made to order. So my food was hot & fresh! I got the fried chicken. It came with 2 sides. I got rice & green beans. Waitress was excellent. Kept my drink filled & brought the food out promptly.

Nothing is bad. Nice staff, quick service, amazing food.

Good Philly style cuisine but still need fresh Philly rolls. Best I have found in SE NC or Myrtle Beach areas.

I love Taylor's. It's not pretentious, just feels like home. The food is all homemade. Her fried chicken is so crispy, but tender & juicy inside. The grits are the best I've ever had, pretty much in all of Brunswick County. Stop in for a great honecooked meal!

Really good ceaser salad. The server was incredibly friendly and even brings the specials sign over so you can read it. Definetly worth a shot if you are looking for a decent lunch. The breakfast menu looked great so we will go back for breakfast soon.

Very disappointed to hear this wonderful restaurant is closing! People remember us in hurricane ravaged areas! When these things happen, it takes more than a week for us to recoup what we lose. Understand the suffering goes on looong after the cameras turn off. When you hear about places being damaged, plan on going by and supporting local businesses like this one! Now WE all are losing out!

Best place to eat at in town I love the fried chicken and pork chops. And the fried bologna sandwich with eggs

If you're hungry and love breakfast... Taylor's "Big Breakfast" is for you! You can also never go wrong with an order of their famous chicken & waffles. The staff are always friendly and attentive. Taylor's is a total breakfast and lunch must try!!

Great home style food! I really enjoyed the unique sweet potatoes pancakes. I wish the purple pancakes were made to be purple with a natural colorant instead of food color.

Taylor Cafe was recommended for breakfast in Southport, with buttermilk pancakes on the menu. Unfortunately, not all ingredients were available on the morning of my visit, but the sweet potato pancakes did not disappoint. Cooked to order, with an egg on top!

Watched them microwave my sausage it was inedible. After I was done eating I could hear the staff saying they were going to go next door to the real estate company to get a bottle of water. Which makes me wonder where my water that I drank came from and where they've been washing their hands. No wonder we were the only people eating there.
